CAN/AM Update: RAHA wins gold, and then some!

RAHA is thrilled to report that our organization fared well in our annual Can/Am Tournament in Lake Placid. The Bantam A, Squirt AA, Squirt A, and Squirt A1 teams won gold medals. Squirt A1's victory came in OT after a winning goal was called off with 20 seconds to go in regular time. Bantam A cheerfully plunged into Mirror Lake to celebrate their victory, keeping with tradition.

Peewee AA won a silver medal, losing a heartbreaker in triple OT, with goalie Truus van Wees making more than 50 saves. Bantam AA and Peewee A also brought home silver.

Bantam A1 took bronze and Squirt B lost in their bronze medal game.

RAHA skaters also excelled in the skills competition, with Gavin White (Bantam A1) and Connor Boland (Squirt A1) winning their shoot-outs and Luke Salvestrini (Peewee B) and Louis Alfidi (Bantam AA) winning their goalie competitions. Squirt AA’s foursome of Henry Nero, Bo Noell, George McCaffrey, and Angelo Ciminiello won its relay competition, as did Squirt A1's relay team of Carson Bloechle, Sophia Dadd, Cole Slayton, and Johnny Marron.

The relay teams from Peewee AA (Mark Pizzo, Alex Maurice, Luke Pereira, Owen McNicholas), Peewee A1 (Ryan Williams, Eleanor Luft, Brendan Craigen, Quinn Harris), and Bantam AA (Charlie Seter, Eric Pereira, Jack Badeer, Giancarlo Faraci) were the runners-up in their relay competitions. Brody Trew (Bantam AA) and Chase Parrish (Squirt A) were the runners-up in their shoot-outs. Luke Trench (Peewee A) was the runner-up in his goalie competition.

We would like to extend our congratulations to all members of our RAHA community. Go Lions!
